WVJC’s nursing programs are direct admission, which means that once accepted, students begin nursing classes immediately upon starting the program. The goal is to work toward their associate degree in nursing and prepare for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)* in two years or less.
